  • •South Maple UMC supports the work of Church Response (A local program which assists individuals and families who need assistance with food supplies, rent, utilities and other needs. Our main support for this ministry is through the “We Care” Food Card program. Local retailers provide gift cards to Church Response who then sells them to the churches throughout the community who in turn sell them to members of the various congregation. Church response and the churches each make a small commission on the sale of the cards and the purchaser of the cards receives the face value of the cards when shopping.  Also, Church Response needs everyone's help in donating pantry items to help feed hungry families in our area.  Each month a food item will be listed that is in need.  Please consider donating to Church Response.
